FOUNDATIONS

Ganesh Investments manages the assets of several Pritzker family foundations and certain assets of Gigi Pritzker Pucker / Michael Pucker (DNS Capital), Penny Pritzker (PSP Partners) and Tom Pritzker (The Pritzker Organization). We do this through third party managers.

We selectively invest capital in strategies and asset classes globally that offer the greatest risk-adjusted return potential.

OUR INVESTMENT
APPROACH

We invest predominantly in the following areas:

Public Equity: Our orientation is global. We target exposures to both developed and emerging public markets.

Hedge Funds: We target a broad spectrum of global strategies but primarily focus on:
1) Long/short equity; and
2) Idiosyncratic non-correlated strategies.

Credit: We invest opportunistically in distressed corporate, sovereign and structured credit, and will evaluate select lending strategies that meet our return hurdles. We also invest in high-grade taxable and municipal bonds.

Private Equity (LBOs): We skew to operationally oriented sector specialists.

Venture Capital: We invest in early-stage venture capital and later-stage growth funds across all geographies.

INVESTMENT CRITERIA

IN SELECTING FUND MANAGERS WITH WHOM TO PARTNER, WE PRIORITIZE THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

Alignment of Interest: We seek managers that are motivated by the desire to compound their capital alongside ours.

Skill: We invest with proven money-makers and risk managers. We are drawn toward investors with unique skills and knowledge that enable them to exploit structural inefficiencies.
